New Service Announcement

The Department of Government Services wishes to inform clients of the Registry of Deeds that new on-line electronic services are now available.

The Companies and Deeds On-line (CADO) Internet system provides for the registration of companies and the filing of certain forms on-line, as well as enabling basic searches of the Registry of Deeds and Companies from any computer. More indepth information pertaining to deeds is available by visiting the registry in person.

Clients are able to perform basic searches of the Registry of Deeds from their home or office at no cost.

Accessibility

As part of government's commitment of making services more accessible and more convenient, the above services are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day except for scheduled maintenance outages.

System Requirements

To enable confidentiality and security, Government will not conduct a transaction with a customer unless their Internet browser (such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer) has at least a 128-bit level of encryption.
