Infinity Medical Group, Inc., Royal Alliance Entertainment Inc., and Iceberg Corporation of AmericaThe Department of Government Services (the “Department”) has received information that Infinity Medical Group, Inc., has been advertising it’s company for potential investment and citing Newfoundland and Labrador as it’s base of operations. Infinity Medical Group, Inc., has also advertised affiliations with Royal Alliance Entertainment Inc., and Iceberg Corporation of America, trading in OTC stock. Neither Infinity Medical Group, Inc., Royal Alliance Entertainment Inc., or Iceberg Corporation of America are registered under the Corporations Act [RSNL1990, C-36], nor are they registered under the Securities Act [RSNL1990, S-13], Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Infinity Medical Group, Inc., Royal Alliance Entertainment Inc., and Iceberg Corporation of America are prohibited from beginning or carrying on any business undertaking in this jurisdiction; and, they are prohibited from promoting or trading in securities in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Department cautions consumers that there may be risks associated with participating in certain tax shelter donation arrangements and recommends that before entering into any agreements involving tax-saving incentive programs, consumers:
If an advance income tax ruling was obtained by the promoter, obtain a copy and review it carefully. Consumers are urged to review news publications and taxpayer alerts issued by the Canadian Securities Administration and the Canada Revenue Agency before investing in tax-saving incentive arrangements. 2007-07-04 Responbile Planetary Concepts Inc, Fundacion Fondo Internacional RPC/RPC International Trust Fund and PRC International Trust Foundation and Better World Marketing Inc (all associated)The Department of Government Services has received information that Responsible Planetary Concepts Inc., AND Fundación Fondo Internacional RPC/RPC International Trust Fund AND RPC International Trust Foundation AND Better World Marketing Inc, (all associated) have been soliciting consumers in this jurisdiction to enter into a sponsorship marketing program involving donations and bonuses. None of the entities named are authorized to conduct business undertakings within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador as they are not registered under the Corporations Act, [RSNL1990, C-36] (the "Act"). A domestic company or extra-provincial company which is not registered and which begins or carries on an undertaking within the jurisdiction of Newfoundland and Labrador is acting in contravention of Section 433 of the Act, and may be subject to prosecutorial action. Box 8700, St. John's, NL A1B-4J6, or telephone 709-729-2596. 2006-10-28 Jabez Financial Services Inc, JFS Credit Union, Community Compassion FoundationThe Department of Government Services (the "Department") has received information that Jabez Financial Services, Inc, allegedly based in the Republic of Panama, with agents residing in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, is trading in securities, in contravention of the Securities Act [RSNL 1990]; and, has begun other business undertakings within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, in contravention of the Corporations Act [RSNL 1990]. The Department has received information that JFS Credit Union, allegedly based in Sweden, with agents residing in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, has begun business undertakings within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador in contravention of the Credit Union Act (SNL1995 C37-1, as amended). The Department has received information that Community Compassion Foundation, allegedly based in the Republic of Panama, has been soliciting for charitable donations in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Community Compassion Foundation is not a registered charity in Canada. Jabez Financial Services, Inc, is prohibited from beginning or carrying on an undertaking and is prohibited from promoting or trading in securities in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. (CFIC) has been conducting business within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and is affiliated with Faubourg Financial Inc. Neither the Canadian Federation of Investment Clubs or Faubourg Financial Inc., is registered to conduct business as required under the Corporations Act, of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, nor are they registered as investment dealers as required under the Securities Act. The Canadian Federation of Investment Clubs Inc., and Faubourg Financial Inc., are therefore prohibited from conducting business within the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, or holding out or acting as investment dealers in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
