The Division of Strategic Human Resource Management for the Social Sector represents and serves the human resource needs of Public Service Employees in the five departments and three agencies including: Health and Community Services; Education; Human Resources Labour and Employment; Service NL and Municipal Affairs including Government Purchasing Agency; Labour Relations Agency and Fire and Emergency Services – Newfoundland and Labrador Agency Comprised of 4 core functions: Human Resource Planning and Strategy Development; Organizational Development; Employee Relations and Integrated Disability Management, it acts as an advising committee to both individuals and the executive branch of the departments and agencies; translating concerns and needs of the various entities to the departments it serves including communication and consultation with Directors, Assistant Deputy Ministers and the Deputy Minister.
